Texas 34 TCU 13
We'll get into the details of this one over the next couple of days, including the abomination of a first half.
But let's just take a moment to pause and recreate, visually, the report card from the second half:

Just outstanding.
Also: we might be on to something here...
We've got plenty to discuss in the next few days, but for now, join me:

sorry
about posting away from the thread PB
just had to.
You can do no wrong tonight
I'm so freaking pleased.
As miserable as the first half was, that second half was just pure gold. Or heroine. Or apple juice. Pick your metaphor. Whatever rocks your boat.
That was it, man.
atleast...
you dont need a pitchfork tonite, eh?
TEXAS!!!
FIGHT!!!

Classic
TCU blows their wad in the first half and Texas dominants the second half for the blowout.
I had forgotten
that the first half was so poor due to the major league ass kicking that got laid down in the second half. That second half is exactly what we've been expecting, hopefully it's here to stay...
So
besides missing the entire 1st quarter, after the Palmer return for TD, stupid ass Fox Sports goes straight to the Colorado/AZ State game. I pretty much missed half the game. Did i mention in that thread that I really really hate Fox Sports?!
Weird
In Virginia we don't get to go to the CU game. We get to go to that game after a 30 minute "Sportsnite" Fun...
Get Dish Network
then get the $6/month sports package that gives you every Fox channel.
or find friends.
there are ways around this.

good lord
Auburn has given four turnovers, and South Florida has not had a single point off any of them.
Auburn sucks.
Congrats to you guys, btw. I picked you. Keep the faith.
Until we get there, that is. :)

My first UT game
and what a game it was. I was starting to think I was bad luck after the first half but McCoy and the rest of the offense really raised their game in the 2nd half. The D was great all game.

It could just be your package
I have DirecTV and only recently realized I could get all of the regional sports channels from around the country for just a few more dollars a month. Check with your cable company to see if such a package exists, it usually needs to be specially ordered.

you're in the springs, right?...
If you have Comcast, check to see if they have a Fox College Sports (FCS) package. I have that package and when Fox Sports (Regional) switched to the CU-ASU game, I was able to change the channel to the Fox College Sports (Central) channel, and they still had the Texas game on.
Up in Denver, that package also includes NBA TV and the NFL Network among a few others. And it's only about 4.95 a month. It's great because I was also able to watch FCS (Pacific and Atlantic) too. So you get to see a lot of Pac 10 games that normally wouldnt be shown locally.

While I was at the game...
I was just amazed by the fact that final score almost resembled 54b's prediction...
great game, Texas and hats off to O-line who got things together after Ulatoski went out.
But our Defense was freaking outstanding. Until we gave away some garbage points, our defense kept TCU out of the redzone. (Before, I think they were inside 20's once, after colt's 2nd interception)
Man, I love Jared Norton...second coming of DJ??
HOOK'EM HORNS!!!!
#11
It was good seeing it out there and making plays.
No Wisconsin won...
...20-13 over UNLV it just went final

Ulatoski?

HOOK 'EM!
I'm so glad I didn't have to drink myself into a Shiner Bock stupor tonight. Fantastic second half!
"Quan Crosby"
this has to be misprinted in some media guide, because not only do they say it 3 times a game, now it's in print:
Quan Crosby helped the team with a 31-yard kickoff return to get the ball to the Texas 40. On 3rd-and-11, McCoy found Nate Jones in the right side of the end zone from 33 yards out to make it a 10-7 game.

I am of the opinion you guys are overly excited
Nebraska and Texas both won on 'pencil-whipping' today and those of you who don't lie to yourself know it. Texas was worn and broken until penalties snapped the will of the horned frogs. Many of those penalties were very suspect.
Same with Nebraska. Obvious pass interference on the last defensive game of the day.
Not trying to be a buzz-kill here guys but you have the Red River comin' up.
...err i mean...
last defensive play of the game...
Go cry in your own corner
Read the very first sentence of this write up. The first half sucked.
The second half? Did not.
And no, I won't not be excited about how much better we were.
Good god
Husker fans are annoying. Can't wait to steamroll them in Austin.

Huskers
Well, long before NU goes to Austin, they have a little team called USC coming to town
heh heh heh....
I knew that would get you guys fired up!!!
Remember me sayin' last week to quit the tit-baggin? I'm truly excited to hear some excitement and hope around here.
Like the Horns were really gonna lose to TCU....
