Aaron Ross
A Ross to superbowl.
Well, it looks like our last thorpe award winner, is headed to the super bowl. Congrats to him and the New York Giants. Also am I the only one that believes he and Sonya Richards children (if they have any)are already guaranteed scholarships to TEXAS? Just some thoughts, Im new to posting here so thought i would throw in my two HORNS. Hook 'em.....

Yeah...
that's the only good thing about the Giants going to the superbowl. Oh well.
Speaking of Longhorns in the superbowl, what's the deal with David Thomas? Is he injured, or not on the main squad, or what?
And yes, we should offer Aaron and Sonya's children scholarships now, to whatever sport they choose.
re:
Damn, I was really rooting for the Pats-Packers matchup; now I don't know who to root for. I guess I can always root for the hopeful Aaron Ross interceptions for touchdowns.
By the by, Quentin Jammer had a nice first half against Mr. Brady; I didn't catch most of the second half so I can't attest to how well he did then.
david
good question, I wondered that too. I know I saw him some last year, but not at all this year.
Thorpe
how ironic is it that espnclassic is showing the movie about Jim Thorpe, Huff and Ross should be proud.
We had three outstanding DB's in the Playoffs
With Jammer, Michael Griffin, and Aaron Ross all having great seasons.
Congrats to Aaron!
He and Sonya were interviewed together when they were still at Texas and were asked who was faster. He said she probably was but she disagreed, saying all she did was "run around in circles". Great couple.
Thomas played in two games earlier in the season but only had one rec for 9 yards. He is such a bad-ass, I'd really like to see him succeed. There needs to be a Longhorn version of Witten. Bo does a great job, but J-Mike could be the one?
Jammer was impressive and definitely did his part to keep it as close as they did.
Watching on Sundays is more fun than ever with all the 'horn presence. I give our coaches more credit for that than most seem to. Raw talent helps a bit as well.
Hook 'em!
Congrats Indeed
those kids will be horns and yes they will get a scholarship (at birth). I gotta say it's gonna be hard to pull for the G-men after watching them slip by the boys but I hate the Pats and their smug QB. I hope Ross picks off Brady thrice times and takes one to the house. Go agghh agghh ahem.... Giants?
