HDTV
Once again, in the Dallas area a UT sporting event was not covered in HD. It has been incredibly frustrating watching tv (specifically basketball) and seeing the game in regular ass tv.
Case in point: Last year I'm at my brother's house watching the NCAA tournament on his tv. The game played at the same arena as the UT game finishes up on CBS HD. Later, the UT game comes on in analog. I've noticed this with football a few times as well. Any one experience this as well or have any ideas why this is happening? (note: we did not change the channel off of CBS HD)

Not just with CBS...
It happened to me with the RRSO on ABC also and numerous other games on ABC. The programmers always seemed to leave the middle of the day game on regular...even though it was being viewed on the HD channel.
I experienced the same thing with the Pats/Bolts game yesterday. For 5-10 minutes at time, it would revert back and forth from HD to analog.

RE:
ABC is notorious for only putting one of the regional games in HD. The rest have to suffer through especially shitty SD.
I had problems last year with CBS in HD when I had Time Warner. The games would switch back and forth. Don't know if it was CBS or Time Warner. Considering I hate TW, I blame them. Since I haven't gotten an HDTV since I moved away from west campus (and my roommate's tv) and now have Dish I wouldn't be able to comment on CBS recently.
As crappy as ESPN is, their HD never had problems.
