NBA Rookies vs. Sophomores game to double as UT reunion
Yesterday the NBA announced the teams for the annual Rookies vs. Sophomores game to be played All Star Weekend. Of the 18 players selected three are former Longhorns. Making the teams were rookie Kevin Durant and sophomores LaMarcus Aldridge and Daniel Gibson. not to bad for a football school. College basketball "powerhouses" Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, UCONN, and Kentucky combined alumni selected to the teams: 2.

Thats pretty cool I guess
Though its hard to get fired up for early exiters with the Horns performance last night.
Imagine this years team with KD and LA.
I wish there was a minimum 2 year in college for Hoops.
Bah sorry dont mean to derail.

Funny
My brother and I were trying to figure our starting five if everyone had stayed put this year or last year.
Came up with this for last season: DJ Augistin, Daniel Gibson, P.J. Tucker, Kevin Durant, and LaMarcus Aldridge with A.J. Abrams a solid sixth man. That scenario is enough to make longhorn fans shiver at the thought.
The biggest regret IMO
since I've been a UT basketball fan is Chris Mihm leaving after his junior year. I'm pretty sure that his senior year would be T.J. Ford's freshman year.

No way....
TJ staying one more year. I think many people forget just how dominant a player TJ Ford was. DJ is good, but TJ was great.
Our only final four team would have then returned something like all 5 starters (Ford, Klotz, Thomas, Ivey, Mouton was it?), as well as the top 3 bench players (Boddicker, Buckman, Harris I think).
That team would have been the favorite to win it all.
