The level of cheap wins in the non conference schedules of some of the top teams is really alarming.  So K.State holds some Schlub team to 4 points in a half, Yeah it's record! Take a gander
The team, Savanah St in a conference(?) where nobody has a wining record and the worst team in this crappy group is 0-17 NJIT (or New Jersey Institute of Technology). you don't believe me, Look!
Wow! K state player's families must be proud.

What the all these Div I teams need is a new conference like the Independents but with teams along the lines of the Washington Generals (maybe they already are?). This way almost every team in the top 50 or so can be 15-0 going into conference play.

This is the long way round to say it's good that Rick Barnes wasn't afraid to put some meat in the schedule. We get to see some good ball and the team gets a challenge.
