I'm hitting the road tomorrow, with an overnight stay in Chicago Wednesday, back home Thursday. Posting will resume Thursday evening or Friday morning. AW may check in before then, but if not, carry on in the Diaries.
We'll spend the back end of the week finishing the year in review, starting in on the 2008 football recruiting class, and prepping for Big 12 play in hoops. Texas tips off conference action Saturday on the road against a stingy Missouri squad.

Compare the major conferences
Now the discussions begin about which conference is better. I like the thorough statistical evaluations one blogger does each week with the games.
How about a seasons evaluation and ranking of the major conferences? The Big XII couldn't be far from the top.
