Texas #1 in Both AP and Coaches
Just got a pager from Orangebloods and we are ranked number 1 in both polls. I guess Texas flying under the radar is now a thing of the past. I just hope we don't let it go to our heads. I'd love to see us run the table. but that will not be easy. I was hoping Mizzo would win so we could slide by one more week. Oh well, it is time to step up to the plate. If we run the table, this could be more magical than the 2005 MNC (with all due respect to VY).
We're Texas and ou SUX

College Gameday will be in Austin
In case you have not heard, Corso and the rest of the bandwagon jumpers will be heading down to Austin for the Mizzou game. Another scary one ahead of us, the target is definitely burnt orange and it is sitting directly on the Longhorns backs. I have faith in this team and coaching staff to ride it home all the way to a NC.

doubt it
Gameday historically doesnt go to the games which provide the highest rankings every week. They just go where they want to go. Do you really think they want to go to Lubbock?

And Harris Poll
I’m sure it’s been stated enough, but USC’s ranking is ridiculously high and is a travesty.

Yep, #1 in the two polls that matter (coaches’ poll and Harris), and #1 in the one that doesn’t (AP). It’s good to see. All I care is that they control their own destiny. Texas, if they take care of business, need no one else’s help to go to the championship games, both conference and national. This pleases me.
