Bruce Feldman: Top 10 Turnarounds
Colt McCoy checks in at #1, while Feldman also includes an on-point note about Brian Orakpo's dominant performance against Oklahoma OT Phil Loadholt:
"I was really impressed by Brian Orakpo Saturday. Some of you might recall he topped last spring's Freaks list and he more than lived up to that against OU's mammoth Phil Loadholt. Orakpo is so explosive and has such a fast first step. He had four TFLs and two sacks and probably should've drawn a flag or two for holding after the big Sooner had to tackle him to stop him a few times."

Loadholt got owned...
Having a player such as Loadholt is great for the O-Line. He’s huge in physical size and he’s a beast. However, he’s slow. This Orakpo character was pretty impressive this past Saturday. I saw the same thing happen this past Saturday that happened against West Virginia. Fast DE’s working our monster O-line. But anyways, hats off to your team for coming away with the win. It was one h@ll of a game. The 2 best teams in college football showed the nation why the Big 12 is the strongest conference this year. I hope it stays that way because if there is anything that I agree with Texas fans about, its that I absolutely can’t stand the SEC and their strongest conference talk….

I do believe...
We have our first enlightened Sooner fan/reader at BON.
Thanks for your (coherent!) thoughts, sir. I kept waiting to roll my eyes and… it never came. Glad you joined in.

Ehhhh...
Instead of enlightened, I think it should be more along the lines of “interested in learning what takes place behind enemy lines!” Its really only out of curiousity. I’m not a poser or this and that. Plus, debating is always fun. Just for the record, I’m not on here to start or pick fights but I am here to talk OU football and represent my team when needed. We may be enemies when it comes to football but we’re all Americans….

Well said and...
Fair enough. I think you will find that around here we put out a lot of reasonable discourse. We are willing to see our faults as well as our strengths… if you can do the same that’s great. Thanks for the edifying post Soonerman… and yes we are all Americans and thanks for your service to our country.
