Fozzy Whittaker Ready to Play
Bumped. Yeah, Fozzy. Beat Mizzou.
"Texas fans haven’t seen him in action since UTEP, but redshirt freshman tailback Fozzy Whittaker is “practicing to play,” Longhorn running backs coach Major Applewhite said Thursday.
“He’s doing well,” Applewhite told the Austin Longhorn Club. “He’s ready to go this week.”
Hampered by knee injuries, Whittaker has appeared in just one game, rushing for 72 yards on 12 carries against the Miners.
Even if he’s healthy, however, it’s unclear how much action Whittaker will see, especially with Chris Ogbonnaya’s emergence.
“We’re bringing him along to make sure he’s healthy,” Applewhite said of Whittaker, “and ready to contribute in the right way."

Im so ready
to see Fozzy “Wacka Wacka” Whittaker break open into the secondary. Its seemed like forever since UTEP. I’ve watched him a few times in Pearland…dudes a hoss!
I keep saying this, but I like a herd of RBs.
Texas has had great RBs, it’s our legacy. And with prior offenses, we’ve tended to spotlight one back, but the hard truth is, the more you have with the diversity of talent, the more threats you create for the opponents. They can stop one, but they can’t stop the herd.
This legacy of talent was the inspiration for the wishbone, to get all that talent on the field. We’re now in a time and place where again the sheer numbers make a difference, and the opposition understands we can stampede their ass at any given time.
whillis never posts nothing.
However, whills’ post had additional text, thus no no text.
Amen
As good as Ogbannaya has been the last two games, it’ll be really good to see Foswhitt get back on the field.
Ogbannaya deserves a pat on the back for making the most of this (albeit unfortunate) opportunity. That 4th quarter run against OU will really get him noticed by NFL scouts, who’ve probably already made note of his receiving and blocking skills. But I have a feeling we’ll need piledrivers like Whittaker and Cody in there against Mizzou.
Friends may come and go, but enemies accumulate.

Whittaker still looks like the only back for which our offense plays to his strengths
at least from a running perspective. Not sure I’d call him a piledriver, but he sure showed some sweet moves in tight spaces when he got the chance.
Thank God for Chris O.’s versatility, pass catching ability and veteran leadership.
OK boys. nnt
That’s no no text, to you.
While whills (say that fast 3 times) has been noted on this site for his nt posts, he has produced a number of fine nnt posts, as well. As a fellow old fart, I have appreciated them.

Old farts united. Can we clear a room or what?
Thanks, LiC.
Acho the Younger, meanwhile, is lost indefinitely
Freshman linebacker underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair cartilage in his left knee and is out indefinitely. He has played in every game this season and recorded eight tackles.

So...
Is Fozzy going to breathe fire from his mouth and shoot lightning bolts out of his rear?

You Damn Skippy
he is. While he’s breathing fire and shooting lighting bolts out his rear he’ll stare down Sean Witherspoon and turn him into Stone, with his Medusa like eyes.
Id de-rec if I could for straying from Braveheart.
Acceptable additions would have been allusions to his 10’ height, killing men by the hundreds, or consuming the English.
