Chase Daniel 0-8 when UM is Losing in 2nd Half
Since he became a starter in 2006, Chase Daniel is apparently 0-8 in games in which Missouri has trailed at any point in the second half. Perhaps he doesn't respond well to adversity. Colt, you ask? Well, Colt has WON more games that Texas has trailed in the second half than Chase has even played in. Colt is 9-4 (not including KSU in 2006 when Colt didn't play past the first offensive drive) in such games, with his most recent win coming, uh, last week against the #1 team in the nation.

Yeah...
About the Chase 2nd half comebacks thing… Now I won’t defend his performance Saturday against OSU (he looked awful), and the statement about 2006-2008 is true, categorically.
However, it does overlook Chase’s freshman season, where he took over at QB in the 4th quarter v. ISU down by 10 (24-14) and led MU back to tie the game and win it in overtime.
Then in 2006, also against Iowa State, he led MU on a fourth quarter drive where he scored the game-winning touchdown on 4th down with seconds left on the clock, only to have it taken away by a bogus penalty. I’m not being a homer about the penalty either, the Big XII officially apologized for the call the following week, but couldn’t reward MU with the victory.
So two wins in nine tries. It’s not great, but it’s probably about average. Usually when you’re down in the second half it’s because the other team is better than you, especially in the case of Mizzou in 2006. Also, it doesn’t really pay attention to the fact that he’s only lost three games in the past two years, and two of those were against OU – both away from home.

losing to OU in the title game on a neutral field doesnt count as “away from home”.
