Around SBN: Africa Cup Of Nations Semifinal: Black Stars Ripe For Upset?

Were any of you aware that Chase Daniel grew up in Texas and would've liked to have played for the Longhorns?

Because no one ever informed me of this.  </sarcasm>

In all seriousness, it's an okay story, but how many times does it need to be told? I've seen at least a half-dozen articles with this exact theme, in the AAS, Rivals, ESPN, Yahoo!, etc.

I know that actual "analysis" is too much to expect from most sports media outlets, but is it too much to ask that sports journalists not just rehash each other's stories over and over again?

I here Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley are roommates.

Evidently

Texas tried to offer him after he had already committed to Mizzou and wanted to stick with his commitment. Who would have guessed

Give the lazy

reporters a break. They already had the stories written from back when they used to run them about Drew Brees and many others (I vaguely remember a kicker) and just had to take them out of their file cabinets, blow the dust off, and change the name.

It's too bad...

that there’s only one football on the field at a time. Otherwise we could play Colt, Chiles and Harris at the same time. Oh, and Jevan Snead wouldn’t have had to transfer.
