FirstDibz: cheap MNC tickets
FirstDibz.com is a site where you can buy the "right" to get MNC tickets at face value if your team makes it. For example, right now you can buy Texas for MNC at $82. Meaning if Texas goes to Miami, you would get tickets at $250. But, if Texas misses the MNC game, you are out of your $82.
It works like a stock market, so if Texas wins the price of options should go up. I haven't used it before, but people at Orangebloods say they have used it before for 2005 rose bowl and other games.
Thought I pass it on, in case you are not donating enough to the foundation, this is a good deal IMO.
PS. I have no idea how legit this site is, but again, I've heard that people have got tickets from them. Apparently, they were used to be called TicketReserve.com.

Phrom their policiez page
Evidently, they’re making 7% (from the buyer) and 10% (from the seller) off of transactions where there may or may not even be a deliverable product.

A contingency-based, Phuturez Marketz on bowl games?

Too bad your Dibz reservation isn’t applied to the final price.

Actually,
aside from whatever level of intelligence is required to buy tickets in this manner, this company is based in Chicago. Illinois looks to have some pretty strict gambling laws. Is firstdibz a RICO organization? Is this contract even valid under Illinois law?
You are basically betting on the outcome of the remainder of the football year. That seems like it would at least raise a red flag somewhere.

reliable, from what I know
My good friend did this under Ticket Reserve back before the Rose Bowl. He spent around $100 to buy the rights. Texas went on to go to the Rose Bowl, and he was able to buy tickets for the game at face while the rest of us spent between $500 and $1000 per ticket. He tried logging in earlier, and his information from back under Ticket Reserve still worked.
So, buyer beware, but at least this company in its former life was extremely reliable. My friend got his tickets a week or two before the 2005 Rose Bowl with no issues at all. We are looking into taking the risk again this year.
