USC 2/1 odds to win BCS???
This is pretty crazy. Vegas gives the 1-loss Trojans 2/1 odds of winning the title, which is the highest of all teams. Texas' odds are 5/2. Can't say I understand this one.

Course they do
Vegas boys aren’t in business to predict the winner, they’re in business to generate moo-lah. The USC of today is the Notre Dame of way back when — sure to draw attention and dollars. And the Vegas boys can read the tea leaves which say USC has an easier road to a 1-loss season than SEC and Big 12 teams that must play an extra game.

18/1
To beat Texas, OU and OSU, as well as not choke in their first ever conference championship game, as well as not choke in the NC game? I’ll freaking host these bets. Say the probability they win in the games are 1/2, 1/2, 1/2, 4/5, 1/2 (all pretty generous, I’d say), that’s already 20/1. I would take OSU over Tech, since we at least know that they’re as good as OU. If Tech is as good as OSU, then 18/1 is about fair. The problem is that I don’t see how Tech>OSU, with OSU’s running game and proven defensive schemes and schemery. Anyone have the odds on OSU?
