Not stats related but definitley loser material in Muschamp's eyes....
End of Season Awards
We all know Colt McCoy is leading the pack in the race for the Heisman and possibly the Davey O’Brien award as well.
How about the rest of the team?
Groza Award- Hunter Lawrence? Perfect on the Season.
Lombardi/ Rotary Award- Brian Orakpo (semifinalist)
Fred Biletnikoff Award- Wide Receiver? Shipley? Cosby?
Dick Butkus Award- Linebacker? Pick one
Thoughts?
"I asked Darrell Royal, the coach of the Texas Longhorns, why he didn’t recruit me and he said: "Well, Walt, we took a look at you and you weren’t any good.

Texas is a great team.
Individually, I think Colt is the only one taking home the hardware.
Perhaps the most recognizable mascot in sports, and certainly the toughest looking, Bevo is a fixture

Thoughts
Groza – IMO needs a game winner one of those ridiculous 55+ yarders to garner attention here.
Lombardi/Rotary – Why not Orakpo? He definitely got the prescribed pre-season hype and is having a very, very good season. No shortage of spotlight the last 3 weeks. Haven’t really heard of anyone else being talked about as a clear-cut winner like Dorsey last year.
Biletnikoff – I love Shipley, but hard to argue against Maclin and Crabtree.
Dick Butkus – our only really good and complete linebacker is Muckleroy and I don’t think he gets near the headlines required to win the award.

Big 12 Passers
The Big 12 has 5 of the top 6 in passer rating (David Johnson is #1) and 8 in the top 20 (plus Kansas St. at 22).
The QBs in the Big 12 continue to impress me.
