Do you really still care about Darrel Scott ?
Besides today's Bohls article, I have also been seeing in some CU forums how eager for revenge Texas fans are over last springs recruiting loss of Scott.
To be honest, I was really ticked at Periloser, and somewhat annoyed but understanding about Brantley. But any concerns I have about Scott are about tenth at best on my priority list for this weekends game, which runs somethng like;
- Win !
- Win !
- Win !
- stay healthy
- figure out the running game
- more experience for the secondary
- etc
- etc

Meh
It’s just one little side story in the larger scheme… I’m sure that the recruitment fiasco will get 2+ shoutouts from the announcers, but that’s about it. I ordinarily find great pleasure when an opposing RB gets crushed or slammed to the ground; I would take a smidgeon more joy if that happens to be Scott on a play or three.
On a side note, I bet Darrell sure is glad that Big Hawk redesigned the whole offensive scheme around him, as promised. Four years of solid playing time and a Heisman, guaranteed…..Coaches would be a natural fit for political office.
Well...
… if he runs for 400 yards and 7 touchdowns tomorrow, I might care. Other than that, absolutely not.
who is this Darrel Scott you speak of?
Is he somehow related to the mythical Chase Daniels?
Nifty tag, though. I didn’t know you could tag articles.

No, but I heard he's the third cousin of Quan Crosby.

All those double consonants...
…hard to keep them straight. Maybe that’s the real reason that Perrilloux didn’t work out.
Mack has his moments
One of them is when he says, every signing day, “We only want the ones that really want us.”
Perfectly said. If you don’t want the orange, the city, the history, the tradition, the campus, the program as is (no changing the offense to fit you), then begonewithyou. Sign where you like and hope it goes well.
this is arguably the single *stupidest*
thing that Mack has ever said. I’ve never bought the “Mack Brown is a lazy recruiter” position, but that just reeks of an excuse for lazy recruiting.
Would you really take a recruiting class full of 25 scrubs each year if they “bled burnt orange”?
F*ck that. I want the best players possible.
As for Scott, I’m over that. Beating CU by 3+ touchdowns would be nice though, as a lesson to future recruits who may decide between Texas and Colorado.
sure
it’s great to have the best players, but if they dont love the school, thier heart wont be in it fully. whats better a five star who doesnt care for his team or a four star who loves his team?
I bet.....
….Tim Brewster wouldn’t have lost Darrell Scott.
