or...

…maybe a Muschamp signature second-half adjustment?

I guess it’s hard to adjust positively from giving up zero points and almost no yards, though.

I mean I would hate to pin the blame on one of my fav longhorn, but do you think some of the problems we are having w/ the run game can be attributed to the major not doing his job as the runningback coach?

granted that we had injuries to fozzy and mcgee..but I am sure that this doesnt look good w/ recruiting….we will probably need a prime-time RB in near future…

yet another

strange call. WTF was up with that Safety non-call early in the game?!?

Fox sports showed the first Big 12 Texas-CU game

If Major had started the whole game, then Texas wins going away.

Odd

Speechless

Perhaps the most recognizable mascot in sports, and certainly the toughest looking, Bevo is a fixture

How excited was the ref after making that call of a touchdown?

nt

Im officially purging “nt” from my brain. Several web searches turn up nothing uncluding this one. It’s an inside joke that about three people understand as far as I can tell.

It's one of the mysteries...

In some models of Scoop, the software behind this cascading style of conversation, new comments don’t open automatically like here. So, if you have a one line comment, you’d use the initials nt for no text, or eom for end of message or -30- the classic newspaper closure icon. I didn’t notice that everything opened automatically here, so I kept using it for a while. That drew attention and some snark. So, some of the characters began using it, abusing it, embellishing it much like you’d do an illuminated text. That was the last written form before Gutenberg swung into action (not counting picture languages), where a whole ’nother world was created within the form. Same here.

Well, let's get ready for the showdown

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you come in first.

We have a +10 but then we can dial it one extra for more fear.

Not any more scared than any other year. They’re better, but so are we. Bradford’s going to be on his ass several times

solid win

some things to work on, but a lot of things are going well. So far this team has exceeded my expectations this season.

by SelimSivad on Oct 4, 2008 9:36 PM CDT reply actions

Notice how the offense pretty much stood still once they pulled Colt?

Again I say, please God, let Garrett Gilbert enroll this January. Let him get two spring practice seasons and one redshirt fall under his belt so he can start in 2010!

it was the drops

and the Ullman disaster play.

by SelimSivad on Oct 4, 2008 10:01 PM CDT up reply actions

Rather have the drops tonight than next week.

That pass to Ullman was a little high and tight. He’s not agile at all. Hit him in the gut.

You throw the ball around enough and things will happen. The rate right now is just incredibly high.

Do we have a quick opener? Noticed that OU uses one; just fast hand-off. We have so many plays that take time to develop. Sometimes just quick plays between the tackles work well but you nearly have to be under center for that.
