Hamilton Commits to Texas
As many of you are focused on the game this weekend, Texas landed a huge basketball commit today. Jordan Hamilton the #5 overall prospect in the Rivals 150 committed to Texas on ESPNU.
He say that he is excited to play along side Avery Bradley and Shawn Williams. He says he texts and talks to Bradley often and they have discussed playing together for a long time.
He also stated that he has family in Austin and that was another reason he wants to come to Texas.
This makes 3 Top 100 Recruits for the Class of 2009. Jordan Hamilton

Now Barnes can go to work on the class of 2010, where he already has a top 5 player committed.

Wow. We’re loaded for this class and will likely be loaded in 2010. God Bless Rick Barnes!

thinking about this basketball season gives me a tiny hard on, but damn just hearing that we landed 2 five star recruits for the 2009 season made me poop in my boxers. what else is left to do for this recruiting class? do we finally have the pieces we need to win it all in 2009? what about this year’s team? why am i geeking out about this? damn it i want to KNOW. What a coach we have in Rick Barnes

I think Barnes is Muschamp's older brother.
This news is a BOOM MOTHERFUCKER.
No news all this time about this year’s team, nada. But with this kind of herd building, we must presume that no news is good news.

Who will still be around for this class?
Justin Mason, Pittman, Balbay, and Hill most likely.
Gary Johnson? Who else?

Check out the clips
Follow the link in the main post and watch this kid in action. He’s got a very mature game and does everything well. Should start at 2, maybe a 3 in a guard oriented offense.

Probably one of my best weeks ever as a Longhorn fan
The OU win and finding out how loaded our bball team will be.
Is it a great time to be a Longhorn or what? We are very lucky to have Mack (and his coordinators) and Barnes.

wrong
i dont know what your source is, but thats a complete load of crap. theres been nothing but good things reported about Hamilton, both on the court and off. A very family oriented kid. He will be a welcome addition to the program and the Longhorn family.
id really like to know where you’re “hearing” this from…because everyone ive spoken to that has met him/seen him play/known people around him have said completely opposite things.
