In the end, it's still just a game.
As we all sit around our houses wondering what happened tonight and trying to figure out what happened to the Longhorns offense pretty much the first three quarters. We all have to remember that it is still just a game. I know it does not sting any less, but all of us know that when we wake up tomorrow, we will all go on about our lives. We will wake up Monday morning and take our kids to school and go to work, some will talk about the game and some will just put in the past and think about Baylor. As mush as losing sucks, that is what makes us die hard fans. Wins are easy, but a loss is when you really love your team. You cannot win a conference championship every year, you cannot win a national championship every year. If it were that easy it would not be as fun. We will root for Texas next week and we will still be pulling for Colt to win the Heisman. So when you wakeup from your hangover and get ready to enjoy your Sunday, and watch another day of football. Always remember that it's a game and life goes on. Root for the Horns next Saturday and that's all you can do. I leave with this probably being my last post of the season, since I leave for Iraq this upcoming week. I will be keeping an eye on the Longhorns, not just in football, but basketball (mens and womens), and of course baseball and softball, and every other sport UT plays. I wish everyone a Happy Holidays and an awesome New Year. Remember it's not over, there is so, much left that can happen. Keep your heads up, and always have faith. I wish everybody the best of luck, and hopefully I will be able to pop in from time to time while I am gone. If not I will talk to you guys in a few months. Hook 'Em Horns.

Be Safe Brother
As a former, but soon to be back, member of the Iraqi Gunclub, I wish you the very best of luck and safety over there. Be sharp and stay focused. Yes, we will pick up the slack for your loss as a fan in the States but we wish you ther very best. Our boys still have 3 games left and I think OKST can beat them next week and they will most likely lose in Norman in a few weeks; which by my calculations, would put us into the Big XII Championship game if that is how it indeed goes down. Semper Fidelis and God Bless you and your family.
Semper Fidelis and Hook Em,
Really puts it into prospective.
Thanks for the words and Thank you for your services. I do not think you could have said it any better. Its just a game and we still have lives to live. Plus we are not out of it yet (I am trying to be optimistic)

Please staff safe and thanks for putting in perspective...
I just ran five miles to get the adrenaline out of my system. We are already way past expectations for this season. When is the last time the Horns sat at #1 for three weeks of the regular season. I hope Quan and Brian are not too seriously injured and thanks for so much for your service to our country-your service is what put it in perspective for me.
