I guess for the computers
it’s better if the Buffs win
I was just scanning TexAgs.
Thanks for all your hard work, Mack. I am so glad I have not had anything close to that feeling for over a decade.

Scanning as Well
Consistent ten win seasons make us forget the other side. I am so thankful Texas is not Notre Dame, Tennessee, A&M, Michigan, Auburn, or countless other programs which have fallen on terrible times.
Thank you Mack.

Damian Williams
is probably the best WR that I haven’t heard of.

In case nobody noticed...
Garrett Gilbert decided to have himself a game in Lake Travis’ first playoff game.
Passing: 19-26 for 279 (3 TD)
Rushing: 11 for 98 (4 TD)
Pretty good game.
Yeah baby, 40 yards run by Cardinals
1 and 1!
In Mack Brown We Trust!
Cardinal about to score again...

Interesting read.... Obama gets more specific in his calls for a college football playoff
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/football/ncaa/11/15/ap.fbc.obama.footballpl.ap/index.html
In his MNF interview he mentioned this, but when asked again for a 60 minutes interview he mentions that he wants to “throw his weight around a little bit” and get an 8 team playoff going….
Like him or not, this would be awesome if he keeps this up.
Don't care
Maybe the teams should boycott the BCS until a playoff in instituted.

That guy should stick to
the real problems, not college football.
In Mack Brown We Trust!
Bah
1) I’m glad he likes CFB and 2) The Big 10 and Pac 10 won’t do this without some help.
I’m glad he’s on it.
--PB--
"help" = "forcing"

President
Do you really want the president of country to intervene on college football? Really?
In Mack Brown We Trust!
It matters
because any CEO that micromanage things, is not doing its job right. If the CEO cares too much about the type of donuts in the lounge, he is not caring enough about his important things.
If President cares too much about how the college football is being played, then he is not caring enough about the economy.
PS1. BCS is awesome, I love it.
PS2. [censored because of politics rules]
In Mack Brown We Trust!
That's one view
And let’s close this discussion now. I can see it’s not headed anywhere good.
--PB--
Agree
on it not going anywhere.
In Mack Brown We Trust!
PB, my bad for linking to the article
And not making more of an effort to limit political discussion of it. To be honest, that’s why I didn’t Fanpost it, I just wanted to get this out without a headline. I figured with all the pro-playoff talk on here lately, people would simply appreciate the attention these comments bring to the problem.
I'm hungry...
Anyone have any donuts…?

--GA Horn--
I don't care who intervenes..
As long as someone brings some sanity to the discussion. College football is the only sport that doesn’t decide its champion on the field. It’s silly.

That is change we can believe in...
CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE
My friendsh, I would have been in favor of a playoff too, but Sarah Palin wash againsht. MAVERICK.

If Congress can investigate the steroids scandal
I think that the president should be able to use his sway for a cfb playoff
It's not like Obama's going to mention it in the State of the Union...
But, any pressure he can apply to the current mess of a system we have is a great thing. I
an obvious comment but...
can you even imagine how fun it would be to watch a playoff with Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama and USC. Shit……
Aggies want Mcgee to start against Texas
haha, rofl. TexAgs. Remember all the threads asking for Jerrod Johnson to start? :) I guess that’s what 4 INTs does for you.

Does anyone think Alabama is the best team in the nation?
Sure, they’re undefeated, but I really think an elite offense destroys this team.
Speak of the devil… Touchdown Mississippi State!
Florida is crazy good
Flordia vs. Texas would be awesome!
In Mack Brown We Trust!
What the f**k is going on
ROFL, that’s no “heck”

Side note, Patrick/Blackledge FTW.
I do like them the best. They admit their mistakes and rarely mangle the English language.

Just past the Half, over 200 yds and 17 pts
So much for the “world’s best defense”. Hey SC, amscray, with your title hopes argument.

Not at all politically related, but I highly recommend reading this Chicago Tribune article on the arrogance of Charlie Weis. Interesting stuff…

I think it is sad how far ND has fallen.
They need some new blood there fast.

it can't hurt
this was a “quality” win for both ALA and FLA. it will undoubtedly sting in the computer polls, and probably less so in the human polls
Dez Bryant
with an amazing one-arm 29 yard TD grab. Okie Lite over Buffs by 12, with PAT to come.
It’s on ABC Regional.

They have defenses
