Muschamp - Head Coach In Waiting

Just read the post on Rivals that Delos and Mack had announced that Muschamp has been designated as the next Longhorn Head Coach. Salary to be doubled to $900,000 in January. Don’t know if the money will be enough to keep him around for 5-10 years if Mack decides to coach that long, but now he knows UT wants him as the next head coach. We should have an awesome defense for next decade.

and after him...

Little Major Applewhite to take over as Offensive Coord when GD leaves to the happy OC Hunting Grounds, and the Major can take over for Muschamp…UT football dominance is now secure for decades to come!

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
