My take is that this loss will become one we regret for years to come or this group of Longhorns' springboard to championship-level football. say when the BCS rankings come out???

I hope, and I am sorry for Tech Nation to say this, that someone gets Leach out of the Big 12 this year. I’ve never been comfortable with any lead, or any deficit, or any prospect of playing his teams, ever.
We should have been better prepared, no question, but I’m tired of this guy being on the other sideline while we play the fools.

As for split title, I don’t really see it unless we get to a log-jam of one-loss teams scenarios. Say, for instance, one-loss Florida squeaks by Bama, gets to the natty title game, beats Penn State in ugly fashion, while one-loss Texas absolutely destroys an awesome BCS Bowl opponent. Even then, seems unlikely…

As Seth C noted in his RU-486 morning after post:
I was sick to my stock the last minute and a half, and it’ still a complete shock, despite the fact that I have to be fairly early for church and I’ve had way too much beer.
It would have been a fun bashing discussion.
