Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

A&M Looking Ahead Already

It seems that the Aggies are a bit sobered by their utter mediocrity this year. This guy only predicts 9 wins in 2009. Among the season highlights: Beating Arkansas at Jerry World, Beating Tech AT TECH, Sneaking past Baylor at home. I think that's good enough to put them in the Holiday Bowl where I'm sure they'll handle a tough Cal or Oregon State team with ease.

Excuse me...
HA!

Back off man.

Why do you care about us anyways? Its not like you even consider us your rivals. You have top 5 team I have a 4-7 about to be 4-8 team. What I am suppose to be doing? Looking forward to a beat down on Thursday. Also, my predictions aren’t that far off. Arkansas isn’t that much better than us they are going to finish the season with the same record as us. Why isn’t us beating Arkansas out of the possibility? I’m not going to lie, the Tech pick is a bit of a reach, but after watching what happened tonight I think we have a shot. They will have a new QB, no Crabtree new o-line, same shitty defense, and maybe a new coach. Baylor isn’t that much better than us, they are going to finish with the same record as us and we get the game at home.

Just pointing out that ya'll predict 10 wins every season

But this time you only have 9.

Arkansas has Bobby Petrino, you have Mike Sherman. I think that you have to do more than chalk that up as a likely win. Your defense is absolutely horrible this year, and with a few more months under scumbag Petrino, I’d be worried that Arkansas doesn’t shred you if you don’t improve significantly. Also, Baylor didn’t just beat you, they whipped your ass. They play together and they just flat out try a lot harder. I think you have to project both of those games as toss-ups. Briles did a really good job recruiting last season, and all those kids will be sophomores this year, plus there will be a whole new set of them.

Hey...ease up on Primetime...

This fortune teller has enough sense to recognize that an unbeaten, #1 ranked Texas Longhorns football team will be playing TAMU in College Station on Thanksgiving 2009. If that means Texas A&M has to have 9 wins for that to happen, well just go ahead and gig me! As I have said several times, the road to an unbeaten season for Texas as well as a Heisman for Colt will be going thru the state of Oklahoma not the back roads of College Station!

I think that the reality of TAMU’s schedule is that they look more like 7 wins than 9. Yet, I agree whole-heartedly that Tech will take huge steps backwards after Harrell leaves. I will go on record as saying that if Baylor can get a 4-star RB in the offseason, they will take beat TAMU to win their 6th game in 2009 and become bowl-eligible all at once!

Bobby Petrino with Ryan Mallett will make for a very dangerous Arkansas team next year. I’d be worried if I were TAMU.

Heck, I’m disappointed we won’t get to see a Texas-Ark matchup in 2009. I think that would’ve been a tremendous schedule boost for Texas in the national championship picture next season.

2009 Texas football schedule

ULM – Season Opener 9/5 – The same day I got married to my wife. Me from UT and her from ULM. We are so there!

At Wyoming – 9/12 – Governor of the state has already declared this the greatest thing to happen in the state since achieving statehood.

Central Florida – 9/19

UTEP – 9/26

The rest is Big 12 conference and is the exact same as this year except switch locations.
