Schlabach apologizes to BON, finally writes something intelligent
I never thought I'd see the day, but Mark Schlabach finally got something right.
Essentially, Schlabach argues that Texas holds the advantage over the Sooners in losses, victories, and SOS. I consider this an apology to BON for his many, many goofs (especially earlier in the year). Unfortunately, I'm not sure that many of the other human voters will view the Big XII South's mess the same way. All we have to hope for is OSU trounces OU.
Hook 'em.

Ha... beat me to it by two minutes...
But I have a slightly more optimistic take in that every article like this helps. We can hope for a mini Sooner backlash—I don’t think it’s out of the question.
I agree; I've started to sense a pro-Texas movement with some of the writers
I really hope it carries over. A trouncing of A&M is necessary, and OSU needs to either play OU close or beat them entirely.
I'M A MAN! I'M 22!
Just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber, you go and do something like this...
and totally redeem yourself!
Can’t argue with anything he says. Hopefully the voters give this a careful read.
I definitely agree that
voters voted emotionally. They had no more than 12 hours after OU-Tech game to turn in their ballots. We saw this happen when Texas lost to Tech and dropped all the way to #7, only to come back in following two weeks to overtake Oklahoma in both polls.
I just hope the process takes lesser time for voters to come back to their senses this time around.
an OU win, if a real battle royal, might serve us better...
If OU shows they are human against their rival [and OSU decides to bring Hyde instead of whimpy Jeckyl to their game this year] AND we dominate Ags we would probably be better served.
Of course we can also hope that Harrell and/or Bradford are roughed up real bad even if they win! ;-)
