So confused...!!!
I am so torn as to who I want to win this weekend. I assume that Texas will handle A&M and Tech will handle Baylor. I am undecided on the OSU vs OU game. So many scenarios...I just can't decide. An OU win could possibly put us in the conference championship but OU could also sneak in. An OU loss puts Tech in the conference title game, which I don't think either Tech or Mizzou could jump us after a win...still I don't know .

We shall never
root for the land thieves…especially after what happened last week. Lets have Tech go to KC and lose or Baylor beat Tech…or 9 million other scenarios. I’m just not rooting for BlowU. Saturday should’ve been a lesson to all those who did root for them.

I'm sorry to say
Because OSU’s chances of winning are so much greater than Baylor’s chances, even though OU > Texas Tech, that we have little choice but to “cheer” for Oklahoma in this one to at least preserve the 3-way tie and give us a chance. Of course, we’d prefer a very ugly, turnover filled game with missed kicks, stupid penalties, bad officiating, poor sportsmanship, and the like. And we’d like somebody to run over Bob Stoops on the sideline.
Then again, Texas Tech unquestionably has the greater chance of losing to Missouri than OU or Texas. If you think that way, you would be going for Oklahoma State.
So it depends on how you see our chances. I’d like to make the Big 12 title game because winning that will guarantee a spot in Miami. Others would rather place their hopes on going through the backdoor via a Missouri victory or an SEC implosion.

Avoid the stress, keep it all simple
Too many scenarios for me to keep track of, especially too many to worry about …
I’d just like for the Horns to have a totally classy win over TAMU, clear dominance, but with obvious consideration for our kin folks from College Station. Class is the key to winning over the BCS voters, I would like to think – I think is the polls where the Horns are still a bit weak in BCS computations as opposed to, e.g., OU and FL. And if that doesn’t turn out to be enough, I won’t be overly concerned, because I’d much rather be proud of UT than win a championship game slot by means of Okie hysteria and classless obliterations [e.g., Tech] …

+1
…besides, I’m seeing some rants about “entitlement”. I really don’t like that word – at all.

Its a Lose Lose
OSU wins we don’t go to Big 12 title game but still have a shot at the national title game. OU barely wins gives us a better shot at both. (IMO)

not sure we can afford classy...
I understand the sentiment entirely, but its pretty obvious that OU has gotten to where they are by blowing out folks (like the hapless Ags this year) by way more than they needed too…similarly take note of teams like USC, Ohio St. and Florida that have no doubt felt compelled to really romp on their opponents.
I feel strongly the only way to help sway votes is for Colt to have a game that ‘eclipses’ those of Tech and OU this upcoming week. We need commentators, coaches and fans to be say “WOW!’ did you see that game on Thanksgiving” all the way thru Saturday to maintain the votes we have and nudge a few others our way.
Ultimately, I’d rather us not play in the Championship and kick butt than back our way in from a perceived ‘Mack political campaign’. Stoops is basically saying that blowing teams out makes his team deserving, to answer that we have to really put it too the Ags, who frankly deserve it after some of the shenanigans of the last two years (not to mention some world class ugliness coming from TexAgs before the season fired up, when they thought they were going to turn it all around in one year and come into Austin for the Three Peat!)

An OU win
virtually seals the Big XII title game for them no matter how pretty Texas wins or how ugly OU wins. We would need a lot of voters changing their votes back and with another ranked win for OU and on the road no less I just don’t see us holding them off. As much as I don’t want Tech playing Missouri I think it helps us more in the end. That and I like Missouri’s chances of beating Tech more than I do of them beating OU.
Needless to say I’ll be pulling for the Cowboys and Bears on Saturday.

Nah, I'm going to put my chips...
… on the great flood of “Texas beat OU, morons!” sentiment we’ve gotten from the media over the past day or two to give us that tiny swing back in our favor that we’ll need to stay on top of the land thieves. The farther away from Tech getting slaughtered, the more rational the media is appearing. We just have to hope for a ho-hum win over the Pokes, although OSU looked like trash against Tech, I think at home at night will bring out the best in them. Road night games in the Big 12 are never to be overlooked. Look at the difference it made with Tech. Tech beats Texas and OSU at home at night and looks damn good, then goes to Norman at night and comes out with its underpants on its head. Let’s just hope the Pokes put on a good show.
