Harris and Coaches Pollsters must pay attention...

If the Harris and Coaches Polls do not put Texas above OU in their polls after this weekend, they will cause more controversy.  If they ignore what is going on and don't get this right (UT above OU), They risk creating such an uproar that I believe that it should lead to thier polls to become more insignificant or dropped from the BCS proccess and all the voters will lose their say.  I believe it would benefit the Harris and Coaches polls to get it right and have UT finish above OU if there is a 3 way tie for the big 12 south.  Allowing OU to go to the Big 12 title game over a team that beat them and has the same record as them is a hugh mistake.  I know the Big 12 officials are hoping that the BCS keeps Texas above OU because if they don't they will cause them to become more of a joke.  The Big 12 officials must be hitting themselves over the head for deciding to have the highest ranked team to have the tie breaker because they were probably thinking that the higher ranked team of the top two would have beaten the team that was under them and not the other way around.  The better way to have the 3 way tie break is to have the lowerst ranked of the 3 be tossed out then go head to head with the remaining two, which would be a more fair way to handle a tie beak of that magnitude.  If the voters don't do the right thing and have Texas above OU, they will be haunted later on and will regret it.  They will tell themselves how could they be so stupid.  Everyone claims that head to head matchups matter, then if they really believe that, they wouldn't vote OU above UT.

One way that this travesty can be avoided is if Baylor can beat Texas Tech in Lubbock.  I believe they have a better chance then most people give them.  Robert Griffin can be a huge factor and can possibly win the game for the Bears.  If Tech looses, it will save not only the Big 12 from they grotest way of handling a 3 way tie, but will save the Harris and Coaches polls.

Harris and Coaches polls, do the right thing, vote Texas above OU or you will regret what transpires if there is a 3 way tie in the big 12 south send a  team to the title game above a team who beat them and has the same record.
