Russell Shepard, QB, Cypress Ridge. Shepard passed for 227 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 311 yards and three touchdowns on 31 attempts. Shepard accounted for 538 of Cypress Ridge’s 590 yards in a 55-48 loss to Copperas Cove.

Can't Blame Him

He wants to play QB and Les told him he’d get a shot at qb. If I were a young stud qb I don’t know that there’s a school I’d rather be going to than the LSU tigers – tons of talent around you, a great D and a shot to play from day 1.

I also think it’s great that Mack was straightforward with him and told him texas would bring him on as an athlete. Keep building those healthy relationships with hs programs around the state Mack
