Tech-Baylor 4th Quarter Open Thread (aka OMG!!!1! Go Bears!!!11!!1)

this hurts them with any voters that are watching (on VS., not likely). maybe if OSU wins tonight, this helps keep us in front of Tech. getting blown out by OU, then struggling at home against Baylor. not a great way to finish off the season.

also, the showing today makes it seem possible that they could actually lose to Mizzou. time to root for the Cowboys.

i do think that conference championships are under-rated (both in Football and Basketball), but obviously a chance to play in the National Championship game FAR outweighs the chance to play in the Big XII Championship game.

they reversed course a few weeks ago when we jumped back over OU after the Tech loss. they may come to their senses again. let’s root like hell that OSU at least keeps it close. a blowout win in Stillwater, and OU almost certainly jumps us.

really though

at the end of the day, this was a LOT closer than it should have been. Tech is red-faced right now for trailing through three quarters at home to Baylor, when they’re trying to make a claim to one of the top two spots. OSU winning tonight should absolutely punch our ticket to Miami.
