Mandel: Texas still gets my No. 2 vote over Oklahoma
Stewart Mandel, of SI, states why he will keep Texas at #2 on his AP ballot. When all is said and done, he defers to the team who won on a neutral field.
I just hope some voters see this article Sunday morning.

But I imagine he’s in the small, small minority. Even if we had beaten Ohio State 100-0, we weren’t getting a split title. Even though Ohio State played a good game and we beat them, people will knock us for not putting up the “style” points. That’s the way it goes.
