Congrats on a Fine Year of Football!

Sunday's events aside, let me congratulate you and your team on a stellar year of football. No matter how things are spun, there's simply no way to discredit an 11-1 mark, particularly out of the most tenacious division in football this year. All three teams had a phenomenal year, and that should not be lost in the noise of this incessant clamor to crown the national champion (whatever that means).

Take it from a Tennessee fan. Things could have been a lot worse.

Word is that you’ll have Monte Kiffin for the Defense and Trooper Taylor for the O (thanks from stealing him from OSU if true). A good mix of youth and enthusiasm to go along with ~~old age~~ experience and guile.

He is a great defensive coordinator, but he comes with a huge price tag. I’m sure they didn’t have a problem with that, but I was just saying I heard that was one of the conditions.
