Texas to 5th in Coaches Poll

14 points behind OU.  Bama is 1st, Tech 2nd.

2 spots up puts us in much better shape than last weeks.   It'll be interesting to see how our computer rankings shake out and what the Harris poll says.

Need to hang 60 on Kansas and start putting getting some style points here at the end...could also use some serious help.  Hook 'em, let's kill the Jaybirds

ugh

will be tough to jump OU from here out unless they lose. even only being 14 points behind them, their last 2 games, if they win both, will keep them ahead of us.

Split

If OU goes on to win out and win MNC, it is possible Texas could win AP if Ap voters keep texas in front (due to head to head).

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
