Is this even possible??? (A new way in!)
Ok, so maybe it's just me and I've gone crazy with whats gone on, but is it actually possible that we can pass OU if they win but are unimpressive. OU does not have a lot of room to go up and we arent in a position to lose a lot of ground (ithink) in the computers. If OU wins but barely, voters could compare the game to the game that we had with Mizzou. If some votes flip our way, BAM, were back on top of OU.
I seriously think I just might be crazy, but to me, any hope is good hope. No matter how slim.

Its possible
but highly unlikely. I just don’t see that happening. If Mizzou can keep it close then we should just want them to win!

That would be awesome
…but based on our luck and how the “computers” seem to love OU, I highly doubt it. If it does get that close, I hope Mizzou pulls thru and wins it and doesn’t get our hopes up just to smash them down again like Baylor did this past weekend.

while it is possible the human voters could do it, they would need a near total collapse and pull out a tight game. even then, it’s highly highly unlikely that UT would get more votes than OU to go on to the NCG as long as OU wins.

It's not possible...
because Stoops will have Bradford throw a hail mary with ten seconds left to increase their lead from 7 to 14

Not a chance.
If ou wins, they are going to remain ahead of us. It won’t matter how ugly the game is.

Not possible.
At all.
We have one way in: Mizzou beats OU.

No way
Unless OU wins because the refs give them every call and everyone gets enormously suspicious, there’s no way OU loses votes for simply winning, no matter how ugly it is. They win, they’re in.

I could imagine a scenario where...
Missouri is down by 35 at that half, and in the last play before time is called, Bradford and Murray collide on a reverse gone wrong and simultaneously suffer concussions that lead to brain hemmoraging. Both are sent to the hospital and pronounced DOA.
Missouri is able to put up 34-0 in the second half, but still lose. The computers wouldn’t know it, but the voters might ding them. :)
Forgive the morbidity, I wish nothing but the best for OU’s players. It’s just the only scenario where I see OU dropping on a win.

dead wrong...
0U Defense would never hold any team scoreless for an entire half.

I th ink it can happen.....
Concerning “Oklahoma’s luck” this year, im not sure yet that it isnt Texas’ lucky year. Texas had no hopes of a national championship after Tech beat them, unless things all fell into place. Things can still fall into place.

What?
Texas had no hopes of a national championship after Tech beat them
Does that mean that OU had no hopes of a national championship after UT beat them unless things all fell into place? OU got lucky that there was a three way tie in the south. Texas had better odds of being in the big 12 south championship, even after the loss to Tech, than OU did because of the head to head victory.
