Mack's OSU/ou game interview
I've heard a lot about Mack Brown whining lately (I even saw it plastered in the heavens above Austin today, GAG). His post-BCS rankings comment about being disappointed, but having to move on quote was typical nice-guy Mack. But I'm curious to know what he said during the oklahoma-oklahoma state game that is getting under people's skin. Can someone sum up what he said, or does anyone have a link to a video or audio of that interview?
PS: I guess it wasn't whining when Bob Stoops raised hell after the NCAA took away oklahoma's wins for the season after bomar got caught making $50k in 3 months at a used car dealership. Good 'ol stoops got his way and got his wins back. But that wasn't whining, that was completely justified of coures...

This is one of those perceptions thats impossible to change
And don’t forget, Stoops “Tech-should-be-in-front-of-Texas” took the high road by not whining.

not a big deal
He said something like “this game is fun to watch, these are two real great teams playing here today, and we beat both of them”
I thought it was funny, but I could see how some might not

He was very classy
He said the Big 12 has had a great year and all three teams are great teams and unfortunately someone would be left out of the equation. Commentator pushed him saying is there anything you want to get across to the voters and he mentioned that Texas beat both OU and Okie Light.
He did not lobby at all!

Furthermore
My guess is it was ABC’s idea to have him on and their decision when during the game they would let him on.

More of the facts
It wasn’t a big deal.
Mack Brown was just politicking. Saying the same line, "We beat this team 45-35 on a neutral field."
Stoops was asked to broadcast over the Texas—Texas A&M game but he refused—again a political strategy.
Politics was what it was all about this year because of the BCS—I wished there had been a different system set up.
I think Stoops is the one who messed up. He should have said, "We beat the best Texas team 65-21"

ooooooooooohhh
typical sooner logic…
the best way to compare teams is NOT how they did against each other on a neutral field. It’s how you did against one specific common opponent, especially when one of the teams played them on the road and one played them at home… yeah, that’s really the best way…
and btw, the only “high road” stoops knows is the one running by one of the local meth labs. “Class” is not something okies are familiar with, in any of its definitions…

What could Stoops have offered during the UT/TAMU game?
“Fellas, I sure can tell you how to beat the Aggies this year, but boy, those Longhorns sure have me confounded!”? At least it was nice having a coach who beat both teams that were playing during his interview. Mack is a class act. Big Game Bob will get his when he blows one of this next two games….
