What if FL beats Bama...
Work with me here: Let's assume the experts are right...and FL is going to lay the wood to Bama on Saturday afternoon. Let's continue pandering to the experts, since they represent the omnipotent section of society and will tell you so at a moments notice. In this spirit, OU kicks the living daylights out of Mizzou and USC with Crimson jerseys destroys UCLA. Here is what we are left with:
Bama: 12-1
OU: 12-1
UT: 11-1
FL: 12-1
USC: 11-1
Utah: 12-0
TT: 11-1
Penn St: 11-1
Boise: 12-0
Seven one loss teams and two undefeateds from non BCS conferences. So again, assuming that a non BCS conference team will NEVER win the BCS "Title," I count 7 teams of which 4 have a VERY legitimate case to play for the MNC.
I thought the BCS was set up to prevent this very thing from happening. In summary: when OU loses as the #1 team, it is OK, this is OU2.0. When TX lost as the #1 team, they were penalized. When Bama loses as the #1 team, they will be penalized. When USC lost as the #1 team, they were penalized and have been destroying everyone since. Now why in the hell does OU get the pass here and EVERYONE else does not? Please explain this to me...I dare you.

cuz they had
a strong SOS to end the season which catapulted them past us, and its obvious the b12 winner(as long as its from b12 south) should go to MNC. i know its bullshit but thats the only logic that i see in it. and its not a lot

So...
I get that the non conference schedule decided the conference’s south rep. Gee, looks even worse in writing…I need a shower rod and a long piece of rope.

Also...
according to the most recent BCS events, if Florida beats Bama and they both have one loss then naturally Bama should stay ahead of Florida cause they have the same records and Florida won the neutral field game. And we have all learned that winning on a neutral field against #1 only causes you to drop in the BCS. So Bama’s in win or lose!

IT'S JUST LIKE WHEN GERMANY BOMBED PEARL HARBOR.........
Read the post where the BCS declares Germany the winner of World War ll.
I need a drnk.
I'd rather you just say thank you and went on your way.

I recommend that Utah immediately invade Idaho.
Whoever controls the blue field immediately wins. Neither one will get any more resolution than that. They’re fucked. Doomed. They could win a dozen more; doesn’t matter.
Make TT walk the plank just for meanness.
Then have an 8-team team playoff.

1 Difference
The only difference I see is the 1 loss they will have. Both USC and FLA lost to unranked teams at the time they played. Texas, OU, and if Bama looses, they would all have 1 loss to high ranked teams. I would argue that this should inturn keep Texas, Bama and unfortunately OU, ahead of everyone else.

Agree
Lost in all this madness is the fact that Florida lost to an unranked Ole Miss team AT HOME; USC lost to an unranked Oregon State team. Meanwhile, OU always sucks lost on a neutral field to #5 Texas; #1 Texas lost on the road to #7 Tech; and #2 Tech lost on the road to #5 OU always sucks.
The listed rankings may be a little off but the bottom line is this: should ’Bama lose to Florida, then the MNC game should be an all Big XII event, preferably UT vs. Land & Conference Thieves, but I will concede that Sand Aggy also has a legitimate beef.
For those who would say that the Florida loss was a “fluke” then I think it is reasonable to also argue that the Texas loss to Sand Aggy was equally a fluke – the game was won by Texas were it not for a dropped interception by a true freshman.
I would love to see this: forego the SEC and Big XII CCG; UT vs. ‘Bama and OU vs. Florida as a “semifinal”; the winners of the two “semifinals” play for the MNC. The money generated for each conference would be about the same, if not more, and the television ratings would be through the roof. I say let’s dirty-on!
