Leach NOT going to Washington...sources saying they just got USC's OC
Here's the dope from ESPN:

This was a Joe Schad news break, so I'm extraordinarily inclined to believe it. Very impressed with his reporting both online and for College Football Live. If this holds up, the only job in the country I'd see Leach considering is Auburn, but I just don't see their interest in bringing on the pirate.
As far as I'm concerned this is great news for us. Leach can keep/make Tech competitive, but probably not a legitimate year-in-year-out contender...great for strength of schedule. Plus, he's just sort of this cooky icon that grabs press.

Didn't USC's offense suck this year?
I know UW is not what it once was, but seriously, couldn’t they do better than that?

The fans really wanted Jim Mora, Jr.
Maybe their expectations are lower than we think. They should have hired Leach. That guy can coach, and he would have turned it around. Leach has now shown interest at UCLA, Miami, Clemson, Washington, and Auburn. He is becoming the Norm Chow of head coaches. He just can’t seem to get the job he really wants…

I don't think Auburn
is a good fit for Leach. His offense is such a complete change from their tradition of power runnung that he would be crucified if he didn’t get immediate results. It’s not going to be easy to knock off Alabama for the next couple of years. Whoever takes that job should negotiate a big buyout package.
