Fishy?
The Harris poll was way late today. Anyone think the "wait" was to simply make sure Florida got what they needed to get the BCS title berth? After all, because of the mass media coverage, everyone knew that Florida was significantly behind in the computers. I find it amusing that despite OU's obliteration of Missouri, Florida still overwhelmingly won #1 in the Harris poll.
Just stupid. I'm getting tired of Texas getting screwed by blatant politics.
And Cal fans, you guys are stupid if you think this is karma: We LOST votes after Mack's alleged "lobbying."
Sigh. And just when I thought I couldn't be more cynical about this system...

it was thurman thomas, on the grassy knoll
I’m waiting for someone to make a Fan Post saying we should secede from college football.
My guess is you’re just tossing this out there for discussion rather than it being your deeply held belief. But the polls have come out at erratic times throughout the season. Now that this garbage (and yes we all know it’s garbage) is finally decided, we need to move on people.

You're right, it's not a deeply held belief
It’s just frustration speaking. I already knew coming in that we had no chance; with EVERYONE knowing that Florida would be behind in the computers and would need a boost, I fully expected everyone to pour a lot of #1 votes into the Gators. I was right but it still made me mad. I think our resume owns Florida’s. We didn’t lose to an unranked team at home.

I'm with you on this...
I think they fixed the Harris Poll today.

No, the Harris was late so that they could announce it on the show rather than having everyone read it on the internet first

You have to admit it though, when you see most national broadcast the majority of the media is anti Texas. Lou Holtz, Desmond ect. There are very few that lobby for UT when they are deserving,Corso,Herbstiet, Marc May sometimes Fowler are the uaual exceptions.

Just simply not true
Most if not all of the media were witting stories about how Texas got jobbed by the Big 12 in the selection. This alleged anti-Texas bias is just your (and a lot of other people’s on this blog) perception issue.
