Auburn stalking Muschamp?
I saw on Orangebloods that Auburn won't leave Muschamp alone. Is Auburn a threat to take Muschamp away from UT? I would think that Muschamp wouldn't leave less than a month after the news of him being the next head coach at UT. Why would he even meet with people from Auburn?
I think Texas, USC, and Florida are going to be the top three teams in college next year to start the season. ou is losing their entire o-line except for 1 person. I can't wait to see how great Bradford is next year. My only worry is replacing Orakpo at DE. Texas doesn't have anybody with the pass rushing skills that Orakpo has (but who does). I hope nobody does anything stupid and leaves early to the NFL like Charles and Finley did last year (Kindle, Houston, etc.).

I wouldnt take too much notice to this…it is quite impractical to pull this at this stage!

Auburn, and a sure thing...
I agree with MN_longhorny. At this point, Auburn’s athletic director is reaching a bit. Since 2004 (Auburn screwed from Nat’l Champ.) he has seen the level of his football program decline overall. Now he has historically their best head coach walk out the door and he’s afraid of setting his team back by making the wrong hire. Muschamp is a proven D-coordinator, at every level. Also, he’s shown the verocity to get after it as a head coach. Yes this is a great opportunity for any coach who takes over, however, the admins. at auburn need to take a long look at what’s “wrong” with their football team and guess what, it ain’t the D. They need a big time O-coordinator to right that ship. Possible Kevin Wilson from OU, or Leach, heck maybe Mangino. Point is, he’s said “no” and I think he means business.
