Finally...
...I'm always looking for this clip.
One of the best I ever saw
Had a seat nearby with my best friend. We went freakin' nutz on this play. Beautiful afternoon in Austin and playing the Irish. It was a great game even though we lost on that last second field goal. Thanks for finding the clip!!!

I'll go so far
as to say it was the best I ever saw live. The only other one that sticks out in my memory was a Tony Brackens hit, but I don't remember as many of the details as this one. Always a good memory...
Maybe
I love that hit too, but for some reason I think the Brackens hit I'm thinking of was during a day game.
Truth be told, I can only remember attending one night game off the top of my head, against Missouri I think, when it started pouring rain and for some reason the girl I was dating convinced me to leave, and by the time we got to her dorm room (in Jester, oh the shame of hooking up on a pull-out couch/bed!), it stopped raining. What a weird memory.
Ok, well, thanks for letting me reminisce. Carry on.
That led me to this one...
Might as well get two big hits in one play from those two!

Man does that one bring back good memories...
18 years old. New Year's trip to New Orleans (lying to the parents by telling them we were going camping). Buying scalped tickets on Bourbon Street. First row of the upper deck.
We hollered our asses off at that game and had to eat some serious crow from the VT fans. But Westbrook is definitely one of my all-time favorite Horns and that game is a big reason why. Thanks for the clip.
BTW - I still don't really know what a Hokie is (and neither did the VT fans).
Kahuna is John Mackovic?
Are you still suffering from the affects of the hit he put on you?
Regardless, I did love that hit by Westbrook. Agree that it was one of the best hits I've ever seen live. Now if Mr Muschamp can instill some of that in our current Horns.

Bryant has a great highlight reel.

Now that bring back some memories...
That is by far my favorite Bryant Westbrook hit. My second favorite atm game, too (My first being the 51-15 thumping put on them the next year). That game, in my mind, really represented the end of a bad streak against atm. The year before, they beat us in Austin something like 34-10 and had won 10 of the last 11 games. A friend of mine got to go to the game in College Station and after the game was over, the aggie gestapo came out to intimidate any Longhorn fans there in the name of protecting the "honor" of the field. Yeah, great sportsmanship guys...
Dios Mio
you said it, man...nobody fu*ks with the Longhorns

Beating a Dead Horse
What would happen if Bryant Westbrook & Scott Ware collided?
Test... Test....
I think you might have just broken the internets.
Can I Get a Boom Mofo!?
Nice clip; Bryant Westbrook was one of my favorites.
