Morning Coffee Preps For A Long Day

Signing Day plan. We'll have an open thread/live blog up throughout the day. Scott will make his announcement on ESPNU sometime today, though it's unclear exactly what time he'll appear. TV coverage of Signing Day begins at 11 a.m. CST, so it certainly won't be before then. All the rumor buzz right now points to Scott signing with Colorado, but it's hard to know what to believe anymore. Regardless, my gut isn't feeling so good this morning.

Finally, Orson and I will get together tonight at 6:00 p.m. for a Signing Day edition of EDSBS LIVE. Scott, Terrelle Pryor, Jamie Harper, Julio Jones - we'll talk about it all.

Texas-OU tonight. The 'Horns and Sooners get together on the hardwood tonight (6:00, ESPN2) to tip off what will be a brutal and telling stretch of games for Texas. After tonight's visit to Norman, Texas plays at Iowa State, versus Kansas, at Baylor, versus A&M, versus Oklahoma, and at Kansas State. Winning four of the seven should be the goal; taking five or more would be delightful.
