I've been around the boards a while (as you no doubt may have summised by my user name) and I've been lurking on BON for, like, ever, but I simply had to congratulate you on that. Epic moment in Longhorn annals. Right up there with Speyrer's catch, Dawson's kick and Ricky's run. I was there for those. Wish I'd've been there for yours.

BTW, did you have to do anything to line up permission to do that? Certainly you couldnt just walk out there.

They also asked if I knew the dance well enough to take the position at the top of the triangle during the second verse.  I told them I thought I could handle it...

It was really, really, really loud in the fall-out of the dance...the clip doesn't really do it justice.

Very impressive.  I really appreciated your narrative as I have always thought that your cousin's sister's boyfriend Alvin was the man and that you saw him doing the dance and stole the thunder b/c he was always in the upper deck and didn't get proper recognition.  Glad to know the stories intertwine, you need to get the pom-pom's like he had for next year.

I'm standing at my desk and applauding.

I got the chance to do the Recliner Shot when I was in school, and I damn near made it--but that, my friend, was immediately forgotten by everyone in the arena who actually watched it in the first place.

People will be telling their friends that they saw this one for years.

My question is how you avoided groping the smokin' hot ladies of Texas Pom like a lecherous old man at the kiddie pool.  From that proximity, I'm pretty sure my hands would develop minds of their own.

By all statistical measures, this is surely the coolest thing ever.

Damn, I really can't wait for Friday.  This is the first Big XII tournament in the last 4 years that I've had to miss, and it's killing me...
