A real world reminder.
Dear Kyle:
Whether it's you putting pressure on yourself or wild jackasses stole your luck, it doesn't matter. You ain't hitting the ball hard. You're one slot up from Sluggo, the one-armed, one-eyed bandit who bats ninth.
You catch the ball, you throw the ball, you hit the ball. It's really a simple game.
Stop thinking.
Love,
Augie

It's for his own benefit
He wasn't getting it done at cleanup or anywhere else in the middle of the order. Better to put him somewhere he can get some good pitches to get his groove back.

With any luck
This will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. For years the major football powers have bitched and moaned about the NCAA. There is a fair amount of overlap between high level football schools and high level baseball schools. It would be poetic justice if the Big 12, SEC, PAC 10, etc finally got together and ditched the NCAA because of the ridiculous college baseball rules designed to please northern schools.

Oh, by the way
I enjoyed watching the game, but the choices were to pay money to listen to the audio, or have the same audio plus the video for free.
Was this a test to see if any Aggies or Okies were sneaking in to this site?

Yahoo Audio
The Yahoo broadcast option is mostly for people who don't live in Austin to be able to listen to away games or home games that are being televised and, thus, cannot have live video streamed on the website.
I do wonder, though, what will happen to TexasSports.tv when/if this new Longhorn Network that DeLoss Dodds is promoting gets the green light. The network supposedly will broadcast the same games that TexasSports.tv does -- all home games that are not already being televised.
