He's a grad student. Graduate school in any major involves taking your studies to another level. Taking on grad school while playing D-1 basketball is tough because of the time commitment. He's been an impressive walk-on to say the least.

There are quite a few people on this board who are very intelligent and doing very well academically (law school, etc). Most are still impressed with Mooney because of his commitment to both areas, even though his major may not be as impressive.

And for the record, advertising would probably not be that tough, but it'd be fun if I were a UT basketball player in classes that had a 9-1 F-M ratio.
