Kirk Bohls wrote this morning that Barnes should be coach of the year (at least in the Big 12). No one should argue with him (because Ced Golden will tear you a new one). But that's not what this diary is about.
It's a slow day.
I don't give a shit about Hill, Obam, or McCa or Huck. I really don't care about Steve Jobs hiding his cancer nor do I give a shit about some hairless stick-boy wanna-be stripper vying to be the next great karaoke'r.
I admit, though, that I do kinda care about Lizard Man, though.
More importantly, I care about making fun of obvious comments that are so stupidly-obvious that they force me to involuntarily blurt "d'uh". So...in the Bohls article, Nebraska Men's BB Coach Doc Sadler was quoted after the game, saying:
"You're not outcoaching Rick Barnes. He's good."
(And, yes, I know it's coach-speak. I hate coach-speak.)
Which prompted me to think of other stupidly-obvious comments such as:
You're not out-shining the sun. It's bright.
You're not out-gunning a tank. It's a tank.
You're not out-running a cheetah. It's fast.
You're not out-crazying Manson. He's insane.
You're not out-heartbreaking Tom Petty. He's cool.
You're not out-jackassing this guy. He's an idiot.
You're not out-grossing, uhh...actually that's pretty gross.
