Big 12 Stretch Run: Wednesday's Action
The race for the Big 12 crown may be a two-team affair, but below that there's a mad scramble among tournament bubble teams jockeying for position. The Big 12 race as we hit the home stretch:
TONIGHT'S BIG 12 ACTION
Oklahoma at Oklahoma State, 7:00 pm, ESPN Full Court Both teams could really use this game, but Oklahoma State - despite winning five in a row to get back in contention - finds itself in the more dire situation. A loss at home to the Sooners drops the Pokes to 7-8 heading into a tough season finale in Austin, which means their best chance to play their way into the field of 64 probably includes a win this evening over Oklahoma. For the Sooners, they can greatly firm up their NCAA tournament chances with a much-needed conference road win. On the season, OU does have Big 12 road victories over Baylor and Texas Tech, but losses at Colorado and Nebraska don't look very good. With a very winnable game to close the season against Missouri in Norman, this win would go a long way toward's easing the fear of life on the bubble.
Texas A&M at Baylor, 8:00 pm, ESPN2 Is this a must-win game for Mark Turgeon's Aggies? Considering their season finale is against Kansas, probably so. A loss tonight drops the slumping Agros to a game under .500 in conference, putting them in the unenviable position of having to upset Kansas to get to 8-8. Remember that no team in Big 12 history has gotten into the NCAA tournament with less than an even mark in conference play. For Baylor, a win tonight all but locks them into the NCAAs and gives them an inside track to the coveted first-round bye in the Big 12 tournament. A loss puts them in the difficult position of having to win in Lubbock to stay above the break-even mark; win tonight and everything falls into place.

Go Bears, Go Ags!
It will be fun to root for the Bears tonight to do-in our in-bred, I mean, in-state rivals. Then to root for the Ags on Saturday to make the way clear for an outright Big XII title for Texas. Aggie jocks have got to be in a wad over this turn of events.

Tonight's Women's game
Last regular season game for the lady horns. Texas vs Texas Tech. If we win, we probably have a slim chance of dancing. 7PM in the drum!
Hey, I'm in the camp of women bball is boring! Boring is a relative term though, what else are you going to do tonight if you don't come to the basketball game?

O-S-Who
Just amazed at the level of performance OSU put forth tonight...just when I didn't think Big XII teams could win on road, OU goes into Stillwater without Blake Griffin and wins by 10.
Think about this for a second...you're OSU, you've played your way back into consideration, you're playing at home against your biggest rival in front a crowd just begging to explode, you desperately need a win, and instead of playing inspired ball, you go out and wave the white flag.
Eaton even fouled out with two minutes left.
If the OSU players claim to be playing to help Sean Sutton keep his job, they sure have a funny way of showing it.

Huge win by A&M @ Baylor
a much needed road win. This gets in off the bubble no? Or do they still need to beat KU?
A&M/BU is starting to turn into a heated rivalry. Technicals are being called, and objects are being thrown on the court by the fans.
