On or off the court....
Kevin Durant never ceases to amaze me. KD discusses his plans this summer in the link provided below.

I'm sure while he's here, he'll play against the team, making them even better prepared for next year. Most important though, he knows the value of an education and I commend him for continuing to pursue it

Excellent
I'm not sure who KD can help the most, but James and Connor come to mind. Maybe if we get one of those fine recruits, he can help them too.

he needs to go to English class
'Even though I love the game, I can't play forever and you can't do nothing without the degree,' he said. 'So I got to get it sooner or later.

re:
And you need to go back to your own forum. He may talk like that in conversations, but that does not mean he can't speak proper English.

You are seriously approaching troll status
you might already be at this point by now.

Troll, indeed
Are you suggesting, Beergut, that Mr. Durant is not allowed to use a different dialect of English (which may be derived from a number of different sources including his family, friends, colleagues, coaches, neighborhood, and/or popular culture) and still be an intelligent young man at the same time?
And there you were, just a couple of weeks ago, telling us that we Longhorns were racists.

I love my Horns
Michael Griffin and VY are doing the same in the football off-season. I love that they are great role models doing the right thing and valuing education and living good lives (contrasting sharply to rich boy Matt Leinart, see related diary). I commend them for their efforts and for placing such a priority on getting their degrees and for using their time in the spotlight to set a positive example for the kids who come after them. Bravo, my beloved Horns!

To be fair
I believe Leinart received his degree before he left school.

Degree doesn't equal class

the reason he could do that
is because he had all the rest of his credits taken care of by that time.
