I was watching this at a shitty, nearly empty Jocks and Jills in Atlanta all by myself in the summer of ‘05 because the house I was living in didn’t have cable. There were a few obnoxious Florida fans around (Atlanta is composed of about 40% obnoxious Florida fans) who knew nothing about college baseball (this from a guy who admittedly doesn’t know much) and went absolutely apeshit when ESPN interviewed Cat Osterman, engaging me in a conversation that Mrs. Osterman really wouldn’t like to overhear.

Anyway, when Texas won the deciding game, I was sitting there in my 2002 national champions t-shirt celebrating all by myself and i didn’t care how depressing that looked. Great memory.
