Wesley Witherspoon
Anyone know if we have a shot with him? Rivals is reporting he's going to announce tomorrow afternoon.

Don't think so
I’ve been hearing Memphis. Who knows, though.
I’m still holding hope we land Ebanks…

What’s your feeling on Ebanks? Legit shot or another Memphis Tiger in waiting? I never heard how his visit went this past weekend…

I don't think Memphis will get both (wesley and ebanks)
They already have Tyreke Evans. All three are offensive guys who are going to want to be the focal point of the offense. I think just having Evans at Memphis would at least make them think twice and look seriously in other directions.
I’m with PB, i’m dying to hear that Ebanks has committed to the horns. I havn’t heard anything about the weekend trip either though

Ebanks
For what its worth, Gerry Hamilton of orangebloods.com was on 1530 yesterday and said that West Virginia was the team to beat for Ebanks.

What a disappointment
I go to Penn State, and West Virginia for me falls into a category with A&M and OU

Damn
As good as a recruiter as Barnes is, Huggins is as good as it gets.

no doubt about that
...a University of the first class, to be located by a vote of the people of this State, and styled, "The University of Texas,"...

Either Or
We will probably not land Witherspoon tomorrow. However, Texas is still very much in the running for Ebanks. We need at least one of these guys. With Jeff Taylor committing to Vandy last week, these are our last two shots at adding a second member to the 08 class.
If both Witherspoon and Ebanks go elsewhere, it is very possible that we’d have an open scholarship next year, which would just make the 09 class even bigger. This is not necessarily a bad thing in the long run but could prove problematic next year, especially considering J’Covan Brown has yet to qualify academically.

My adopted son Sergio Kindle does not sleep; he waits.
