UT 14 A&M 8, 7th Inning
Just got settled in to this one myself, but Texas has found the offense that eluded them yesterday.
Game tracker is available here.
Big 12 sports has a live blog running here.
The 'Horns have pounded out 14 runs on 15 hits, including 3 from Danks and 4 from Belt. The Agros put up a 6 spot in the 6th and 2 in the 7th to cut into Texas' 12-0 lead, but things look great so far.
Of course, we'll have to keep an eye on tonight's game between Missouri and OU, as well. First pitch was scheduled for 8 p.m., but with this marathon between Texas and A&M, that's clearly not happening.

14-9
Ags get one in the Top of the 8th, but Walker gets a huge K to strand two runners and end the rally.
Three outs to victory.

Horns win.
I had trouble getting CSTV for this game but saw it on channelsurfing.net.
The Tigers/Sooners should be available here at 7:30 but if not, channelsurfing has it on their schedule as well.
Way to go ‘horns!

What's our post-season looking like right now?
And does winning a few more games in this tournament mean a whole lot at this point?

host regional
texas sealed to host a regional with this victory and will probably be a 2 seed at home!!
another win probably won’t make any difference.
just my opinion.
ut1ou2 means ut is #1 and ou is #2 for texas-ou weekend

Yes
But I don’t think we’re there yet at all.
Probably the best college analysis I’ve been reading of late is from BP’s Bryan Smith, including his projected field and hosts.

Hosting
A win tomorrow would go a long way towards hosting as a 2-seed. I don’t think there’s any way Texas will be a 3-seed, but with Rice, Aggy and LSU all near locks to host, an Austin regional may not be in the cards. It’s round robin, so Texas doesn’t control its fate any more. If Mizzou beats OU then Mizzou will be in the conference championship game. Wins over OU and A&M and an extra-innings loss to Mizzou might just be enough though.
Either way, big win today even if we coasted (up 12-0 after 3) a tad. Aggy has played itself out of a national seed when it was likely a lock for a top 5 seed just three weeks ago. 8 straight, poor aggies.
