Linklater's Augie Doc
Director (and baseball fan, and Austin resident) Rick Linklater has created a documentary about Augie Garrido titled Inning by Inning: A Portrait of a Coach. From the site: "The film profiles this remarkable coach's career and unique approach to teaching the game with unprecedented access to his team meetings, practices, and conversations with players during games."
Should be very interesting and very well done. Plus, proceeds from the screening go to the Austin Film Society and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (May 27) for the screening, which will be at the Paramount Theater on June 3.

I dont know how many of yall have listened to him speak, but the guys a philosopher. Great instilling the right message with young kids. I wouldnt be surprised if they make some noise now that theyre back on track. Should make for a great documentary.
