DKR-TMS NEZ Structurally Complete
The club suites, classrooms, and brick facade aren't done, of course, but as you can see at DKR-TMS Webcam, the stands are in place (new seating diagram here). From having attended the spring game, I can tell you the NEZ is even taller and more intimidating than it looks in photos and really changes the whole feel of the stadium. It also does a great job of trapping sound, which is both good news (crowd noise, firing of the cannon) and bad (Godzillatron making my ears bleed). All in all, a major upgrade.

Can't Wait Unit DKR reaches 100,000 plus!
The only bad thing about enclosing the south end is most people won’t be able to see UT tower anymore. I know the Boomers and Faggies are anxiously trying to speed up the process of expanding their stadiums as well so that they can keep up with the mighty Horns! At least we will have a year or so until the new Cowboys stadium opens and replaces DKR as the biggest football venue in the state.

Are you sure the new Cowboys stadium will be bigger? My in-depth research tells me it will seat 80K, expandable to 100K. DKR will seat 90K+ in 2008 and, whenever the SEZ is completed (long way off, I know), well above 100K.
Not that it matters, as long as we’re showin’ up OU and A&M.

I thought the Godzillatron killed any chance of SEZ expansion...
They could probably stash in more bleacher seats, though, especially for high demand games like Ohio State.. oh wait we don’t bring in any big names for a while…

I don't know about "killed"
But Godzillatron and the semi-permanent bleacher seats are probably an indication that we’re not going to expand again for a while. Which makes sense, considering we just spent $180 million doing the NEZ.

Missouri
The Missouri game will be a big game next year. If both teams go into the game undefeated, then it will probably be a gameday game.
