Devin Ebanks
Any body have any news regarding Devin Ebanks and his recruitment? I know he visited Texas on April 26th, and has a couple visits left to Memphis and Rutgers, but was wondering if there's any information floating around. Last I heard West Virginia was the team to beat, but I know things can change quickly in the world of recruiting. I think he would be a great addition to the team next year if we could get him. Just looking for an update.

it shouldn’t be too much longer. This weekend he’s going to visit memphis for his last official visit.
then it comes down to which school he favors more: Texas, West Virginia, Rutgers or Memphis

J'mison Morgan
Does anyone know the recruiting story of J’mison Morgan? He’s a kid right out of Dallas (South Oak Cliff), so it’s a small surprise to me that we didn’t recruit him. Anyways, he’s asking out of his LSU LOI, and apparently has UCLA at the top of his list. I know we’re not exactly hurting for bigs, but still…

Morgan
I saw the kid play at the state championships here in Austin and would want no part of him being on our team. They played a smaller, more athletic team, but he got killed inside. With his size and “skills” he should have dominated the paint, but he got out worked. He looked lazy and slow. He missed some crucial free throws down the stretch, too. And then when they ended up winning, he danced around the court holding his jersey out like he won the game. It really just rubbed me the wrong way. I could be way off, cause it was just one game, but I’d be surprised if he made any kind of major impact on the college level. Big, lazy, and pampered is usually a combination for a bad player. Think Derrick Caracter.

Never seen Morgan play
so I’ve got to trust Barnes and the assistants on this one. There must be a reason he was never a potential Longhorn. He may very well end up somewhere other than LSU, but it won’t be in Austin.
